Actually, there are a lot of excellent, well-written reviews on this site as well as all over the internet. In a forum open to the public there will always be some garbage reviews done by kids, uneducated people, or people just trying to be antagonizing or silly.

However, we must be grateful for the open nature of the internet. We do have moderators in most forums to delete things that are just just plain nonsensical or irrelevant. Otherwise, it is easy enough to quickly detect a BS review and move on to the next one.

I am very appreciative that we have this thing called the internet. I also greatly appreciate that there are people willing to maintain forums and people willing to write reviews in the forums. Internet reviews (along with quick price comparisons on the internet) have greatly empowered the consumer.
