8800 coming to T-Mobile?

anybody have any idea whether this will be coming to T-Mobile soon and how much it would cost? Ive heard rumors about a different version with wifi and maybe a camera. Any thoughts/answers?

Which is certainly in line with T-Mo's product strategy of wifi as a substitute for 3G data, not to mention UMA. Dunno if the 8820 will come set up for UMA, but I would suspect it's just a small firmware update away.

BTW - Yes, I know Tmobile is getting a 3G network, but given that they won't have one until later this year, wifi works as a decent substitute for those who need higher speed data networks than EDGE. Personally, I think it's a great idea.

And who's to say the 8820 won't be the rollout device for their 3G network?

you can always just purchased an unlocked version or buy cingy's version and unlock it.
