Samsung SGH-A437 / A436

Only sad part of it, is it's a few bux more then the Sync- after rebate. But its a new phone and to be excpected, that will change. I also think the return on profit for a media package with a Sync- probably is the main reason at this point.

But, heck, it does MMS, something even a the six hundred bux wonder from our friends from Cupertino can't provide.

I find this A437 a very nice basic phone. Has the nice keypad, form factor and other advantages of a well thought out mature model. If you are looking for a good simple phone this is hard to beat. I have tried one that belongs to a friend, and I am very impressed. There is a lot to be said for a good solid phone, with good reception and call quality. It has the same build quality of the more expensive A717 which is what I use. This A437 is a very nice phone and a great bargain, even if a few more dollars than the Sync. I personally like the looks of the A437 better than the Sync with it's very busy looking front panel that houses the audio controls and huge logos.
