I was informed by a data trainer that at&t will stop selling the e62 and will not release another version. who knows.

Okay..thanks for the info...so what will I get for an exchange when the E62s run out?...Why are they gonna stop selling it?

Although Cingular may not sell brand new ones anymore, most carriers keep some on hand for purposes of warranty exchanges. More often than not those are refurbished versions. If they don't have any at all available, they may then give you different options with phones that have similar capabilities.

Nowadays it's rare for a carrier to keep a product in stores for much more than about six months (which is right about how long Cingular has kept the E62). Manufacturers tend to keep the phones available for much longer. For example, Cingular hasn't sold the 6682 in their stores for a couple of months now. However, it is still available for purchase on Nokia's website.

If Cingy is going to get it then you'll be waiting a while. besides, the unlocked ones arent firmware crippled. I would hate to get it from cingy and then not have wifi, as is the case behind the e61 (real) and e62 (cingy raped)
