If I'm in an area that doesn't have edge yet and I have no use for a camera on my cell. And the main reason I would want a cell with a keyboard would be for telneting/ssh, and text/iming would this be worth getting? How would this compare to the Dash. Thanks.

Well the telnet/ssh app for Sidekick is actually pretty good and, like, $5. But good windows mobile ssh apps tend to cost $50+

Other than that for for ssh they are pretty comperable.
The Sidekick is a bit bigger than the Dash, and T-Mobile is soon releasing a Windows Mobile 6 update for the Dash which is supposed to be a big improvement. Also with the Sidekick you are limited to the apps available in the "catalog" but with the Dash you can get tons and tons of 3rd party apps, and its easier to develop for Windows mobile, btw. LOL
