Samsung UpStage M620

I have found a relatively easy way to place videos on the Upstage while converting files at the same time. This is not the only way but I thought I would share it with others who are having a hard time placing videos on their Upstage.

First, video files need to be converted into 3GP format, so I found a converter to do this. The converter I use can be found at the following link http://www.videohelp.com/tools/3GP_Converter

When you run the program it will ask you which language you wish to use. Once you pick the language, I'm assuming English, you will need to pick the video converter that will work for your phone. For the Upstage you need to select:

"General: 3GPP+AAC General Setting"

Which is the third option from the top. Before you convert the file, you will need to assign a destination for your video. Click the Browse button to do this. Select the drive where your Upstage can be found, my Upstage can be found in Removable disk (E, may be different for others. Once you select the right drive select the folder named Media (name of folder found in your Upstage).

Once you have selected the right destination, you will need to change the converter settings. There will be a pull down menu which you will need to change the settings, in that menu select:

"QCIF High quality 15fps Stereo"

Once you are done with this drag the video file which you wish to convert into the white box at the top. The file will begin to convert, and when it's done it will be placed on your Upstage.

To watch the file go to the menu on your Upstage then go to Tools, then Mass Storage, then File manager, Then Media, and then select your video.
