my second question, if i were to switch to another phone, would I get the 2 year price or would I be paying retail. I was under the impression since we all paid retail for the iPhone that you could update to another phone at any time and get the discounts, is this true?

I'd wait, i2 will be nice. Plus, pearl is overrated, I'd get the 8820 or curve.

if the i2 is just an iphone with 3g they can keep it. I live in the boondocks of Pennsylvania where 3g is non existant.

I just like the new pearl because it has wifi.
