I emailed motorola asking if there had been a release date set for the phone, and Verizon was going to carry it. Heres what they said.
"We are sorry to inform you that the ROKR Z6 is currently being offered
in international markets only. There is no scheduled U.S. release and
no current U.S. support for this product. "
I dont know if this is a mistake but i would be pretty disappointed if verizon doesnt carry it or the rizr.
