hi, just visit ytpocket.com on your i760 and follow their instruction for downloading software. it will then not only play pocket youtube, but real youtube as well.

try that on PIE (pocket IE) and not opera...

I'll try it later today.
Thank you.

I tried it, and it works. You just have to search for and watch videos provided on the ytpocket site, you can't watch videos on the normal youtube.com site.

very cool, isn't it...
...
I've done everything the site has said. I can now view videos strictly from ytpocket.com. However, every time I attempt to view a video from youtube.com, I always receive a message saying:
"The file...cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
Any suggestions?
Thanks...

mobile youtube... read your URL and you'll see that your phone by default goes to mobile youtube, which is different from ytpocket.
when in mobile youtube, scroll down and find a link that says youtube classic, click on it and then you'll be on real youtube, but why bother, real youtube is very heavy and bugs down the phone, use ytpocket instead... S

I see what you are saying about going to the classic view. However, while in that mode, when I attempt to click on a video to view it, the Internet Explorer doesn't react. It acts as though there were no link. The same thing also happens when I try to view google videos. Any suggestions?

see if this is the problem with other web pages, if yes you have a defective unit. it happened to my first i760 and it was replaced after two days.
the best way to test HTML browsing is to see whether it can click on hot-linked buttons, vs normal text links.
Mine couldn't activate image links, only text links. Just play around with it and test out different web pages, once you detect the specific problem call VZW data support and they'll most probably replace your phone.
