No it is not Rev A capable and will not be in the future. It does not have correct processor chip. 🙄

REV A is a second generation EVDO High speed data network. The first being Rev O. The main difference between the two is that Rex A will allow your upload and download speeds to be similar as to where REV O was more dedicated towards higher Download speeds only. REV A is supposed to also allow for a higher connection speed.

So basically the EVDO and the wifi for this phone will not be as good as it could be if it had the REV A? Do you think this phone will be slow on its internet?

No. Rev A has nothing to do with wifi. Rev A only improves upload speeds. To the consumer there is not a whole lot of difference in Rev 0 and Rev A. Rev A phones are more expensive anyways.

Somewhat right. Rev A will dramatically improve upload so when you're sending emails/pics/videos/etc it will be faster. Download speeds with Rev A are faster but again A focuses on upload speeds.

Definitely worth it.

Rev A phones being more expensive? Looks like we have a Samsung fanboy 🤣

6800 and i760 are supposed to be priced the same at around 399 with 2 year contract. So, no, RevA doesn't cost more, it's just newer and requires latest programs to run. I had a VZW air card that ran on RevA on my laptop. It was a thing of beauty, it basically gives you DSL speeds over VZW's EVDO netwroks... ;) S
