So I had the chance to hold the mock phone at a VZW store: Does the phone dig into your face?
I noticed pretending to talk it seems like because the corners are not smoothly rounded like my current xv6700 that it could be uncomfortable and dig into your face.
Anyone else notice this?
On another subject the main reason I want that phone is the external dialpad, otherwise I would get the 6800, anyone have a chance to compare?

Doesnt dig into my face at all. I hold the earpiece against my ears on the top edge of the phone and its fine (just as I did with my old moto Q). I never really press the whole thing against my face though, just a habbit I picked up with the Q to avoid face grease on the screen.
I have to admit though, the Q is slightly more comfortable to hold and talk into. But just slightly.

Pretty hard, being that I have an XV6700 the volume on it is LOW. So maybe the volume on this phone will make me avoid having to do that.
