Ah, please don't raise hell!! These things happen, unfortunately. I'd go to your neighborhood Verizon Wireless and explain your issue. Sounds like your phone may be having the issues, try a warranty replacement on that. Only other recommendation would be to try to adjust the volume on both the headset and phone. This sometimes helps with echo, not too sure about static but it's worth a shot! Best of luck!
