I have this LG 8700 phone from telus. Not a bad phone - except, I cannot use any of my MP3 songs that I've transfered from my computer and use them as ringtones. I have "created" small MP3 files to allocate them for ringtones, but, this phone doesn't let you do that.

I am told that you need a "crack" for the phone because Telus doesn't allow you to do that. The only way you can allocate ringtones is if you download them and pay for them. Then they can be used.

Anyone know of a crack for the phone? Or a sneaky way of doing this?

I'm not too good a phones - so if you reply - please write a little detail so I can do it myself. Thank you!! 🙂
