Bluetooth Issues
I got my 8700 yesterday, and of course I foolishly did not fully test the BT capability before I left for a trip.
Has anyone else noticed a problem with BT? Specifically, the volume. I am using a Jawbone and had NO problems with my VX8300. I tried my old Jabra BT500 with the 8700 and same result.
Some times the volume is fine, other times it drops down and continually has to be reset. Even at the highest volume, it is tough for me to hear.
My family is FedEx'ing me my old VX8300 so I can activate it asap.

I have had this issue with 1 of my BT headsets. I have a Motorola H700 and have had no problems with it. However, my LG LBT730Z headset does have that problem. The LG headset sometimes drops in volume. It is really annoying, so I use my Motorola headset most of the time. Hope this helps.

I am using the Jawbone and it works perfectly. Volume is loud & clear all the time. Reset the Jawbone & pair again with 8700. Hear there is an update to phone. Try that.
