I sent my pictures to Pix Place, but I can't figure out how to download them. Can some one please advise?

Once you are in PIX place, you should see the photos you sent there. To download them, you need to send them to an e-mail address (yourself).

Drag the photo to the box on the right that says "drag your media here" then below it there is a button that says preview and send. It then gives you another option to enter an e-mail address to send it to. Press send and there it is.

Drag pictures to the top of the box, audio to the middle (if you are sending audio).

Thank you. Worked fine though pix place seemed to think the pictures were audio, they were transfered fine as jpgs.

Now you do know that you can also just send them to your e-mail address directly from the phone also?

Just put the full e-mail address in the TO: field after you take the picture.

I guess I noticed that I could but it seemed like I had to send one picture at a time. Is there a way to send several?

Also, I pay for text messages since I don't do many. Do you have any idea whether sending an email is also billed as an additional charge and if so, is it by the size of the message or the number of messages?

Thank you for all your help.

When you don't have a text or pix plan, any text message costs you 15 cents to receive or send even if it is an e-mail. Naturally, if you attach a picture or sound it is considered a pix or MMS message and those are 25 cents each.
With text messages, if you go over 160 characters it breaks it into separate messages so you need to be careful. A message with 320 letters and spaces in it will cost 30 cents to send.
That's why I got a text/pix plan because my wife and kids were bombarding me with text messages so now for 10 dollars, I have unlimited IN text and pix and 500 off network.
They used to have a 5 dollar plan that allowed you 250 messages. You might want to see about that if you plan to use it with any great frequency.
