bitpim, ringtones from sd

Hey, The bitpim site states that you can store ringtones on the microsd card. I've done this on previous phones but can't get it to work on the 8700. Bit pim loads fine and I can access file-systems and such. I created a folder on the card labeled "ringers" and dropped in my mp3's (cut to around 30 seconds) when i tell it to get data from the phone and select ringtones it seems to work but it only runs for a few seconds. I send data back to the phone and again it finishes in a few seconds. power cycle the phone and there is still nothing showing up in the ringtones folder on the phone.

Any ideas? Also have any of you gotten this to work on your 8700?

Thanks

1. in BitPim click Filesystem.
2. you should see another window pane with folders.
3. Expand folder "Brew"
4. Expand folder "Mod"
5. Expand folder "10889"
6. Click on "Ringtones" folder.
7. Right click on your ringtone and drag it to the far right window. You should see your new ringtone in there.
8. Unpluged your USB cable from the phone and power off.
9. Power up your phone and check out your new ringtone. 🙂
The new ringtone should sound better than if you text message it yourself or from other website that send it to you. Good luck!

Maybe I wasn't clear enough, I got ringtones on the phone. I want to have them stored on the Micro SD card so they don't take all the phones memory up. I was able to do this on my 8100's and my 8300. Thanks for the help though.
