I like the soft pouch that came with it when I have it in a secure pocket. If it is going to be in the pouch and just thrown in your shorts and you go walking on the beach...you might be asking for trouble. The phone is slippery and sleek and also slides out of the pouch just as easily.
I also have a case that is a belt clip that the phone completely fits in (got it at the VZ store) with a magnetic closure. This is a much better bet and protects the phone. Do not get anything that the phone snaps into - it will snap, no - fly out of the snap and the nice shiny cover will be scratched.

Yeah get a 19.00 leather belt case, they have them in all colors and are very durable.
