Will there ever be a desktop charger for this phone?

Just curious. I had a 8100 and a 8300 and aftermarket chargers came out a few months later. I'm wondering with the charging port being on the side is this going to happen with the 8700?

There is a Moto phone with the charging port on side. Saw a charger on ebay. Hopefully.
