ID text tone question..
ok well, im a sales rep for verizon, and im constantly looking for new phones.. and lately ive stuck to LG, only because you can personalize text tones [as well as ringtones] on some of them [example, 8300] -does the 8700 allow you to personalize text tones as well?

well, as for ratings, it was nothing out of the ordinary for the samsung 990. when it first came out, i did want it baaad, but the more i thought about it, i realized i wouldnt use half the compacted features. and i also havent gotten too much feedback on the quality of the phone itself. as for pricing, we've all been waiting for it to go down. at first it was planned to stay at what it was because there was no similar phones scheduled to be released, until just recently when they added the samsung u740 to the collection, which is the closest comparison to the 990. so far no drops in pricing yet, but he hope there will be.

The flagship phone is rarely lowered in price until just before the next flagship is released.
