LG VX-8700
front screen...does it get scratched easily
i currently own the 8000 and i love it...one reason is because the front screen has the silver trim around it that comes out further than the screen so even if the phone is laying face down the screen cant get scratched easily....does the 8700 have anything like this...is the screen slightly inset on the front of the phone so that it cant get scrathced laying face down...anyone that has one let me know please...plan to buy soon.

The screen is not inset so it does have the potential to be scratched.
However, the phone comes with a soft pouch to carry it in. It's very nice actually - by only having it in the pouch when not in use, it keeps the phone protected but does not ruin the appearance of it like a leather case would.

The screen is not recessed. Nor is flush with the surface. It is slighetly raiesd from the surface.
