vs. 9900 camera????

i have and love the 9900, but i don't really need the keyboard. I would love the size of this phone but would mis the battery on the 9900. So here is my deciding factor, if the 2mp camera on the 8700 is to par with the 2mp on the 9900, if it is i think i might buy one....thoughts? If not I will waite on the gzone type s

I still think the 9900 has the better camera (larger lens opening and flash), BUT the camera on the 8700 is still VERY NICE and VERY clear. Both will not disappoint.

thank you, Oh what do you think about the battery. I am probably going to buy this phone this week but I was worried about the camera as compared to the 9900 but I am also worried about the battery, I know it will not be as good, but is ok. I use about 1:30-2:00 talking a day, will i make it home without charging it. I used to have a razr and the battery was horrible, so little worried about that

I have an enV and I bought the 8700 online last week because it was such a sweet looking phone.

In response to the battery life question...I thought the battery life on the 8700 was HORRIBLE. It was the main reason I returned it. Not only did the phone get really hot after extended talking time, but the battery died before the day was up. It just wasn't going to cut it for me, especially coming a phone that I can go 2-3 days without charging.

This is just my opinion, and maybe others have had better experiences, but I just couldn't handle it. I guess there's a chance it was a dud, but I wasn't willing to play the exchange game and find out. I had to pay full retail, so I am going to wait until more people have the phone and see ...
