do u have to flip open the phone to swithc between songs? does it have a memory card slot? were is it? is it the gay verizon software like on the razr? and should i wait for the razr maxx?

I prefer the 8700, which is what I own..over the MAXX. The main reason is the construction of the phone..both have the same features and can pretty much do the same thing...the MAXX's entire front is glass. That would last two days before it was shattered if I was using it. 8700 seems like it will stand up well, both are brand new phones and haven't totally proved themselves yet

yes you flip the phone, no play buttons on front. memory card slot under battery. the razr is a joke, the software on the 8700 is not the evil red banner, you can also remove the verizon eri banner, the phone will have two menu options for you to use and the front has a few display options as well. Don't waste your money on a razr, this phone is in a whole other league, better build(not even close) better menu, better camera, more personalization options...oh and the razr is garbage, i have warantied as many as I have sold
