I know its a PDA and the whole purpose is to have it run the windows software so you can do all the business stuff, but I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to have it just run the regular Verizon software? I like the phone style, but am not really ready for the PDA operating system (I don't need all those fancy features yet, lol).

not an option, unless you know how to code your own firmware, in which case you would be a very rich person right now.
Your stuck with the OS Verizon slaps on there.
sorry.

You don't even have access to Get It Now 😕

I needed Backup Assistant to transfer my contacts but it's a Get It Now application so I was out of luck. You have to use Wireless Sync. Customer Service can set you up on the website for the first time. I hope you don't have a lot of contacts because it's a pain manually entering them 🙂

On all Smart phones / PDA's obviously come with a Pre installed OS ( Operating System ), including all the bells and whistle extras. That is good thing in the sence of if you were to screw up something ,liked I've done myself in the past, to the degree were your only option is to do a "Hard Reset" Similar to Re-formating your P.C. +, it will put your device back in the same "Status" as when you first bought it, deleting everything that you downloaded / installed since you got it, But if you save all you CAB files ( Program Installers ) on Active Sync and even your memory card like I do, you can simply reinstall your programs.
