Case For Verizon Model
Anyone know where I can get a carrying case? All I've found are pouches. 😕

I picked up a Body Glove case at the Verizon store this weekend. It's a vertical case with a magnetic closure. low profile belt swivel. Neoprene with some rubber reinforcement on the sides and bottom. It works well, like it was made for it. I couldn't find it on the Verizon site but, here is a link to it on the Body Glove site.

I discovered something with it though. The magnet in the case causes the screen to flip to landscape mode as it passes the magnet. It goes right back and doesn't keep the screen on or anything once it's in the case. The phone probably uses a magnetic switch to detect when the keyboard it out that's all.

I found a nice case at BestBuy that is black leather with a magnetic flap. Problem is the same as tdubb posted; the screen flips and the 'da'da'da'ding noise sounds. I don't mind too much since I keep the thing on vibrate 95% of the time.

I know HTC makes an OEM one for the 5800. You know VZW though...they wouldn't sell it. Try the other carriers who carry the device. I think Qwest carries it.
