Seriously. How difficult is it to type with one hand? The keyboard is about 4 inches wide when opened up.

seriously....any of these key board style pads are very hard to text one handed. The candy bar is also an option on this phone though because it has a condensed keyboard on the front and the keypad slides out. But to answer your question...it is hard, to test it out go to a vzw store and try typing on the LG9800, or the u740 with one hand.
