Sooo..... Can anyone see a reason to get the 510 right now? With the recent price drop of the the m610 down to $129.99 after the instant rebate why would anyone get this phone? I know the 610 is being discontinued but until that happens or until the drop the price down to the price of the 500 I can't see myself selling many if any of these phones.

if they price were to drop down, i would see more people buying this phone over the 610. the 610 is too big and does not fit well in the hand. they both have the same features.

Well ther 610 has more memory IIRC and a 320x240 screen (the 220x176 screen is a deal breaker for me)

The best phone currently is the sanyo 8400 every feature you could want and 60mb of internal memory!!

Um, for about $30 you can buy a 2GB MicroSD card for a M510.

I have the M610. I think it's the best flip phone ever made so far. The M510 looked to weird. I hate the style and colors. The 610's screen is crisp and great for watching TV. The speakers when watching said TV produce the sound towards you rather than away from you.

The 610's speaker sound quality is below par, I agree. But I love the 2.0 MP cam. I have a 2 GB Micro SD card in mine. Looks alot better than the 510. Also can hardly notice it's in my pocket. I have big hands so I don't have a problem with it fitting in my hands.

M610 wins hands down.
