First, is the plastic glossy so that it shows fingerprints? Glossy phones seem cool for about 2 days, until you get sick of all the fingerprints and the greasy effect. A good quality matte plastic is way better.
Also, what about basic performance? A lot of reviews for the m500 were luke warm or negative about call quality. I have stayed away from Samsungs ever since I had an a620 that made a high pitch sound in the background while talking. I read one review for the m500 that mentioned the same thing. I wonder if this phone has the high pitch squealing or any other call quality issues. Also, the m500 was said to have poor battery life – has that been improved at all on the m510?
Otherwise, I do really like the concept of a PEBL-inspired phone with a megapixel camera, music player, memory slot, and non-crippled Blue tooth (where you can move pictures from the camera to your PC without any charges from Sprint).
