Hi,
I too used a V3, with my Parrot CH 3100 carkit. The differences I note now between new and old phones are:
• The phone itself no longer makes a sound when it rings (while connected to the carkit only) I have to have it set to vibrate and leave it in my pocket so that I know when a call is coming in.
• The voice recognition system that's built into the carkit is overshadowed by the voice recognition that is built into the phone.
Apart from that, it's OK.
