Motorola RAZR V3xx

We've had Motorola cellphones forever. My wife has no problems at all while my phones continually have issues. The latest issue I've had is my phone shutting down literally turning itself off during a conversation then re-starting (most of the times). This happens on each and every call - sometimes multiple times during a call - seems to be only when I make the call. It's infuriating! Years ago, I opted for the monthly $4.99 insurance "policy" (my wife didn't). Since then, I've had to return my phone 3 times to the tune of $50 each time (let alone the $4.99/month I had already paid on my monthly bill).
