Voice Mail notification won't go away!

The icon at the top of the screen that notifies you that you have a voice mail message is showing even though I have checked and deleted all messages.

There's more to the story. On a whim, I checked my
"Messages" screen where the voice mail message count is shown and it shows one message remaining.

I have checked and deleted all the messages so I don't know what to do to get rid of the "ghost message" and have the icon disappear.

For AT&T people, is there a way to manage this online? I would love to access my voice mail stuff online and make the adjustments there.

Any thoughts?

Just a thought...have you turned the phone off, then back on, essentially re-booting it? This seems to fix other little annoying quirks from time to time. For a "hard" re-boot, take the battery out for a minute.

Didn't work. I tried both suggestions. I'm not sure what's going on. I'll have to look further I guess. Thanks for the help anyway!

Well, anyway, it's always good to try that one. I had this happen once on my old phone, and couldn't get it to go away then either, but when the message expired on my voice mail, it went away on the phone notification. So this is probably not a permanent thing.
