This thing is what any serious toy geek has been looking forward to. Integrated everything.. contact lists.. I'll be getting one.

I got the XV-6700 because I didn't like the keyboard on my "V" (vx9800) after switching from my sidekick II.. (best keyboard ever). But the xv6700 lacks a a decent speaker for the phone calls and runs sluggish even with no background/today screen software running. It's battery life is also deplorable.

I also have a chocolate (vx8500).. it's a wonderful phone with a large screen and responds well to bitpim... but it's just for pix/calls.

I've waited a long time for a phone like this so that I can go to a single device/number that finally does it all... anyone else looking forward to it?

Yeah, I've been using the xv6700 on Verizon too and I'm ready to move on. The HW isn't that bad and I love the QWERTY but Windows Mobile is basically torture and the lack of a dedicated keypad for dialing is finally wearing me down. The Ocean looks great, but it does look a lot like the Sony Mylo. I think if it incorporated WiFi as well, I'd be sold. Anyhow, If the build quality is there I might still pick it up. Helio has a GREAT return policy in case it sucks.

I have a helio hero now and can't wait to upgrade to ocean. I had considered moving to the drift but i'm glad i waited. 😁 The feature i'm most looking forward to is the ability to keep up with my email both business and personal. In other words it's enough to get the phone just for the reason i can check my gmail on the go. Now if they'd just sell it to me already!

I too have a Hero, which has been rather WONKY by the way.

I was THIS CLOSE to just paying the $200 and cancelling my account, but once I heard of the Ocean, I had to change my pants.

Now all it needs is MotoTALK. Haha.

I currently have a Moto Razr V3m from MetroPCS. I saw the Helio Ocean and think its amazing (for a phone). I'm not a fan of the iPhone even thought I am a Mac user. The Ocean, if it does as promised, could practically replace my gps, ipod, web browser IM and email, and digital camera. But since its still a phone it can't be that great. I need to see it before I decide.
