then the M1 it is its very durable like most sanyos and its performance on a sprint phone is WAY above the 8400 only closely matched with the samsung M610

If all you are looking for is a quality phone, check out the Sanyo 7000. If you want music and all the extras then the M1 is the perfect choice. If you don't need all the music and such, but want a 1.3MP camera instead of the 2.0MP then the 8400 is a good choice.

Depends what you are using them for. For picturemail 1.3MP will send faster and be more compatible with more phones you send to. Also doesn't take up as much space on your memory so you can fit more pics.

I have a 1.3MP right now, but if I know the only reason I'm taking the pic is to use it for picture mail i won't even take it at 1.3 so that it sends better. You can't tell the difference between VGA, 1.3 or 2.0MP on a 240x320 screen 🙂

I thought all pictures became the same size when you send them. My wife had a 2.0 a800 and they sent just as quick and I got them on my phone just fine. I think the only good a 1.3 or 2 does if your going to print them!!
