1. If I have Mp3's I put on the phone myself, can I set them as ringtones or do I have to download ringtones from the sprint store in order to make them my ringers. IF this is the case is there a way around this to be able to use my own songs as ringers?

2. Do's this sanyo till have that lil animated buddy animal that all the other ones did and if so whats the animal this time around?

3. Do's the bluetooth support OBEX file transfer. For those who don't know, can this phone send mp3s and pictures from one phone to another with bluetooth.

4. I guess my last question is should I choose Cingular, or sprint?

1. You can its tricky and dont' want to go through it all here unless you get the phone!

2. Yes its a white bear and does alot.

3. Yes fully supported.

4. That is a personal preference. What you are looking for, price, were you live and so on. I personally prefer CDMA voice over GSM and I like that its more secure also. I also like that two large carriers offer CDMA (Sprint and Verizon) over just one large GSM carrier. So your roaming coverage is greater with CDMA in the USA. And also if you are wanting DATA then there really is no other choice other then sprint. No one can beat them as of today and that is a fact! But try them both out you got 30 days I believe with both!

Thanks alot, I asked about the cingular question because my contract with cingular is ending and I wanted to know if I should stay or move to sprint. I plan on moving back to cingular in the future but right now it seems that sprint has more going for them at the moment like more innovative phones and services including multimedia and they're already ready to roll out with Revision A.

I belive in the end cingular will be a force to reckon with but its goin to take another year before HSDPA really sees sum unique twist and usage. I"m coming to the Sanyo M1 from a LG CU500 if you where curiuos on the phone I had. Loved it as a phone though and believe HSDPA is betta mainly because you can do more with it seeing as how its voice and data at ...

Voice and data yes t the same time. But who is going to talk on the phone and use the data at the same time. Just doesn't seem to me a deal breaker. And wimax will destroy HSDPA. In my opinion!

For your answer to question #1, could you please tell me how to use my own songs that I've downloaded from cd's as ringtones. I actually have the phone and can't figure out how to do it. Thanks!
