Music thru Media Player

Hopefully someone can help me with this. How do you play music thru the media player? Im not too tech savy but did manage to get music from my itunes to play thru the music option but it takes too long to play thru there. so i was wondering how to get my music to play thru the media bcuz it is much faster. For example, when the phone is closed and you access the media player with the external keys. Is that just for videos and such? I cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks 😁

Put the music in the media folder instead of the music folder.

i have already tried that and it does play thru there. but when i try and launch it when the phone is closed, it says that i need to create a playlist. so then i try and create a playlist from the media folder and there is no music to add the playlist. it only gives options for channel listings which is TV. are you familiar with what i talking about?

Another thing, i heard you can text while listening to music. is this true? if so, how?
thanks again!

With the phone closed click the play button, go to "Media Player", then "Media Listing" and play whatever your would like..

Once the music (or video) is playing, open the phone, and use the left soft button to "Minimize" and you can do many things on the phone while the music continues to play (including txt msg).

You can add songs to your phone via USB and media folder or Windows media player
