Does anyone know if sanyo has stuck with their half-done "voicecommand" where you have to record yourself saying each one of your phonebook entries manually, or if they have gone with the technology that samsung uses for their voicecommand? another thing... does anyone know if sanyo has also stuck with their half-done audio routing for bluetooth where you have to transfer the audio to your headset manually as with the katana, or if they've made it so that it will automatically connect to the headset when you're trying to call someone? tia. kthxbye.

I think you are asking if it is speaker dependent or independant voice dialing for the phone.

The last Sanyo I had was independent and did not require you to record a voice tag. Let's hope this is the same way.

I would call Sprint sales to find out for sure.

For the first question..

it looks like there are two way to use it the first is by pressing the talk button and for that you have to have voice tags which means you have to record first. the second there is a button on the side that is above the camera button that allows you to control the phone without recording first and in there you can call one of you contacts.. ex you can say call tom cell .. it will do that.

for the second question..
If you want to make and call and your BT headset is already paired then you just hit the button and you will hear it say 'say a command' and you can call someone like the example above. there are options for the turbo button i think , where you have the option to set how the call button on your he...

It sure does and it's probably the best voice dialing software I have used to date. It recognizes any voice and is very accurate.

yeah, i just got mine two days ago. thats what i was talking about, voicecommand runs just like i wanted it to (unlike most previous releases from sanyo), and the bluetooth also supports the one touch voicecommand (unlike most previous releases from sanyo).

best phone i've ever owned. i would HIGHLY suggest it to anyone who is looking to get a great multimedia phone.

only complaint is that the text messaging doesn't keep up to my fingers 😉 but then again, thats just user error. 😛
