check this thread. Other than buying not going to happen. I can make you a ringtone or 2 and send thewm to your phone with Xingtone maker. But check out the thread for some more info.

Yeah check out www.3gforfree.com or www.funformobile.com. WARNING! These sites aren't filtered for content so you may find a few innapropriate things on them. It's not a Sprint supported site but you can search for ringtones and d-load them straight to the phone from there. You might incur a data charge reguardless of where you get the ringtones from. The only way to do it is to use the link cable and edit the songs for length then find the right folder to put them in.

There is no ringtone folder. You have to use a program to send it to your phone. Sanyo and Sprint do not support putting ringtones on your M1. Still Xingtone maker will do it plus there is one I found for free online.

He is right about the ringtones. I was confusing the music files themselves with the ringtones. I know on my phone I can put full length songs on my phone from the computer but you have to use that program that jtc mentioned if you wanna convert them into ringtones. 3rd party programs are the only way to do it.

you could always download mptrim (nice lil free mp3 editing program) and use mixxer.com to upload personal files for free (they don't charge for uploads). only prob is havin to go online with your phone to access the files through their mobile site. hope this helps.
