I've been debating on whether or not to save up the money for the phone (I don't have Cingular and therefore have to buy it full price unlocked) and had 2 questions about it.

1. What formats of video can it playback? (like video put on an SD card)

2. Is there any size limit to the SD cards?

the limit of the SD card size is 2 GB..i have 100 songs and about 1.25 GB left over.

I believe however that in order to playback video you need third party software to view them. Pocket tunes does not offer video playback. I am not 100% sure however.

Out of the box the treo will only play 3gpp videos. I would recommend getting TCMP, its freeware and will play most other video formats.
As far as the size limits on the SD cards I can say for sure it will take up to a 2GB card but I have read some post from people saying they are using 4GB cards on their 680's
