Does anyone know what the price if this phone will be and if the 18th is definately the date it will be available?

The Price with 2 year contract is $199 if you get the unlimited data package. The phone is supposed to be out on the 16th. I work for cingular and the corparate newsletter said the 16th.

Thanks for the pricing info. I recently bought the 3125 but it's pretty useless for email so I wanted to swap it for either the 8525 until I saw the Samsung i607 on here. I definately like the smaller form factor and the price is 1/2 the cost of the 8525. Aside from price, which do you think is the way to go?

I can't speak for the date but the price isn't on Cingular's current price sheet. Hopefully we'll hear more this week.
