Memory Card Problems

I just bought a San Disk 2GB memory card for my Blackjack. Well, after I connected, synchronized and started adding music files to my Blackjack it was telling me there are only 54 KB of memory and I couldn't add any more than 5 songs.

Since my ipod is 2GB and so is my memory card, I should be able to add all my songs. Is there something being added to my phone that I'm unaware of that is killing the memory?? I'm confused and aggravated. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Also, does anyone know of a way to transfer my songs to a ringtone to put on my phone?

Sounds like you were actually adding the music to your phone memory and not the memory card. When you open ActiveSync, go to My Stuff ---> Storage Card and then you will see folders such as My Documents there just like on your phone memory.
