Check out this page and go to step 6. This is the Samsung site that has the official method for reflashing a Blackjack.

From what I understand, if you flash it with a non-approved version, it will void the warranty. Someone else may have a better answer, or know more about it.

Well I also downloaded and instaled windows mobile 6 from this link yesterday. A few things about it though that I was not to happy about. The new windows mobile interface is beautiful and smooth. I think the best part about this version is that it comes with mobile office which is a huge bonus for us blackjack user, since we only have the ability to view excell, word, and powerpoint docs with the 3rd party piscle program. However I did find that my connecticity, both data and cell went to crap. No matter what I did with the settings I could barely get a signal and missed more then 90% of my calls. Granted I live in the mountains and the ability to use my 3g capabilities is about 45 minutes away, however as soon as I reinstalled the newest v...

Thanks so much for this post. I too and a little irritated by the pissy piscle program problem, but just a little. I'll wait for the Blackjack release.

Wow, this is interesting. I just upgraded my Blackjack with a version for AT&T, but I'm using it on an unlocked phone on O2 in the UK. I had all kinds of problems with GPRS connectivity. There is a ROM flash that supposed to fix this, but I skipped it and went straight to WM6 in hopes of fixing that too. Since I'm not in the US I can't test it to determine if it solved that problem.

I bought the WM6 upgrade from eBay ($6). It lacked adequate directions, but got them off the Samsung site thanks to a link here. There are a number of steps, but if you follow them carefully, n...

Internally at&t has a version they are testing. I downloaded it and have been using it for a couple of weeks. I too have noticed the reception weakened greatly. I live in an Edge area and have not tested this in a 3g market yet.
