transfering contacts

Can someone please tell me how to transfer my contacts from my sim card to my phone?!??! I can't figure it out.....

Just select the contact for edit, then choose menu. There is a selection "Save to Contacts", select that and the contact will be saved to the contact list on the phone.

I don't have that "save to contacts" on my phone. What else can I do? I have the old sime card and want to save the contacts to my new blackjack as well as the new sim that came with it. Sorry, I am stupid about this stuff.
