I need to get a new phone. I currently have a Nokia 6230i. I love it but it's getting old and some of the functions don't work anymore. I'd bought Sony Ericsson k800i but someone stole it. VERY SAD!!!! I loved my Sony and considering rebuying it again but then I saw the reviews on Nokia N95. I really like what I've read. But wow... the price!!! I also like the Nokia e65. So now I'm torn between the Sony K800i, Nokia N95, and Nokia e65. Please help me choose. I will try to buy the N95 if it has lots of cool features and worth the money but if not, any other recommendations on what phone is good out there? I'm a gadget girl btw. And I text a lot. I noticed that the talk time on the N95 is not that much, so that might be a problem. But the GPS ...

Well I have had mine N95 3 months and its the best "gadget" I've owned. I also had the k790a, which was essentially the same as your k800. I get almost as much battery out of my N95 as I did my k790a. I cant express how much I truly love my N95. I dont need one of the newer versions as mine works great and they are coming down in price. 3rd party apps are applications made by someone other than Nokia. Example: Profimail. Its made my Lonely Cat Games (www.lonelycatgames.com) and its a great email program. IM+ is a great Instant messaging program (www.shapeservices.de) There are a million 3rd party apps available for the N95 but I will say this. If you do not have an unlimited data package, the N95 is probably not the phone for you. The intern...

what is the difference between the n95 and the N95 8gb? is it just more memories? also should I wait for the U.S. version to come out in the U.S.? I live in California, USA. I don't know whether the US version will be better and cheaper. Does anyone out there who can help me?

The 8GB will have that much memory built in, with no option for adding a memory card. There are 16GB cards that will work in the other N95's either already on the market, or should be soon. I have a 2GB card in mine right now and its a plenty. The 8GB will also have a slightly larger screen (2.8 inches vs. 2.6 that is on the current N95 and the US N95 will also have the 2.6 in screen). There is a higher capacity battery in both of the 2 new 95's coming, as well as more RAM. But my RAM suffices me as I am not an extreme power user and I find the battery to be above average for sure. The deal breaker for me in getting either the US N95 or the 8GB version is there is NO lens cover for the camera. It might not be a big deal if I had a 1.3mp came...
