My Memory

I'm having problems on how do I get my memory usage down. It keeps saying that my memory is low (thats on my phone memory) I have lots of sd memory and idk whats wrong. I tried to delete some files, I even deleted my whole outbox. Whats wrong with it? 👿

The memory that is referred to is not your flash "storage" memory but your system "operating" memory or RAM. I believe that the N75 has ~21MB of RAM available after loading the OS like most S60 phones and is not upgradeable. The N95 ships with 128MB of RAM for comparison. You can manage the open apps using your RAM by bringing up the process menu (press and hold down the main menu button) then you can scroll up or down and kill unneeded apps with the clear "c" key.

Your files and data residing on the internal and removable flash storage have nothing to do with RAM memory errors.

If you still have memory errors after closing unused apps you may have to move up to bigger/better S50 phone like the N95 to run your app.

Turning my phone off once per week has helped my memory issues.
