Lock on Speakerphone
I understand that I have to wait until after a call is connected to select the speaker-phone. Is there any way to lock the speaker phone on until I manually change that setting?
Are there other flip phones, Nokia or otherwise, that have a persistent setting for their speakerphone?

I don't know of any lock to do so, but I was fooling around with mine one time and I came upon a little trick. If you have the phone closed, and hold the >>| key until you hear a beep. The voice dialing comes on and you can speak the person's name you wish to call (assuming you've somewhat trained the voice dialing) and viola, you're automatically on speakerphone. You can also do the same if you miss a call, and you look at the missed call on the front display. It will give you an option to call them back by pressing |
