Does AT&T really sell feature-rich phones? On the Sprint level?

Okay, I'm new to this whole Cingular thing. I used their services years ago, but they have changed a lot since then. What I am seeing though, is that they claim feature-rich phones, but I don't see anything different.

Can the N75, or any AT&T phone play videos out of the storage memory or off of a card? Can it play music that does not have DRM on it? What can be viewed through their video clip store? Is it just some clips like Verizon or is there live TV and radio like Sprint?
Can you use third-party Java applications like Opera Mini? Do they have GPS?

I use Sprint, but I am trying to find out more about AT&T. 1 of my friends is getting ready to leave T-Mobile and he asked me to research other carriers for him.
I know what Sprint off...

I actually found a way to download videos also so the Iphone isn't the only device that can view Youtube. 😈

m.youtube.com from your cellphone browser... you need to have flash like the n75
