A2DP support listed on Nokia USA

On the Nokia USA details on the N75 when you click technical specifications,

under music features it lists:
Bluetooth stereo audio (A2DP)

You have to scroll halfway down the page.

This link has the name cingular in the URL.

So it is a software issue and Cingy disabled it?

Can anyone confirm that it works on the "unlocked" version?

Unfortunately ATT has blocked their version from being recognized by NSU. The only way we are going to be able to update is if ATT comes out with an update and offers it OTA.

I wonder what CTI is really selling.

http://cti-miami.com/products/nokia-n75.html »

They say it is "Non Cingular" and "fully unlocked." Weird.

They say it is AD2P compatible, but I have not had a chance to go over there and try it out with the (Sony) stereo bluetooth headset I bought to use with the Nokia N75 I got from Cingular.

I tried it with my N75 and while I can hear the music in both ear peices it shounds like sh!t as compared to listening with the pop port dongle and my Sure EC2s. With my Sure's the sound quality is as good as the iPod.

Also the controls on the bluetooth don't work at all to advance the tracks or play pause, etc.

I bought the Sony Stereo Bluetoothâ„¢ Headset HBH-DS970. Does anyone have experience with...

Here is what i got from Nokia today:

Thank you for your response.

We regret not responding sooner to your e-mail request regarding the availability of the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) on the Nokia N75 device and we can offer the following information.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

If you have any additional questions, please contact us. To ensure proper handling, please continue to use the current subject line.
