The Nokia 6267 is a Symbian Series 40 phone which does not even put it in the leauge of the N75. Also this phone is more of T-mobile suited phone. Here is the product page: http://europe.nokia.com/A4430606 Also the N75 is so cheap, you would be hard pressed to find any other N series device that cheap.

Larue you are correct. I'm on my 2nd N75 and it works exactly as it should - however, I personally prefer a Series 40 OS over Series 60. Perhaps not as much flexibility in terms of software, etc. - but a lot quicker, simpler to operate and don't have to worry about exiting "open" applications.

Sometimes all the additional flexibility and functionality has it drawbacks for some of us.

you are exactly right! I hate the fact that nokia puts so little RAM in their telephones. These phones should have at least 100mb of RAM then nokia would be the best phone. Also what is the big difference between series 40 and series 60 nokia phones?

I'm not a guru of phone operating systems, but from the 10,000-ft level I think the biggest difference is that Symbian Series 60 OS provides the capbability for true multi-tasking of applications - Series 40 does not. Series 40 3rd party applications are almost strictly Java midlets, which definitely are not as numerous and may be a little slower than 3rd party Symbian applications.

In my mind relating to a PC environment, Symbian Series 60 would be similar to Windows, wheras Series 40 would be similar to an advanced version of DOS (i.e., DOS 6, etc.). That may be an oversimplification but it works for me.
