Now i know the N75 is better then the 6126, but i have been playing with a 6126 all day and I like it, alot. Plus the N75 may never come out, and this pphone is here now, and still has alot of great features, plus a lower price tag, i just don't know...what do you all think, i could use some suggestions.

I am thinking of exchanging for this phone would you answer a couple of questions for me? In the alert tones and tones does the tone 'cackle" appear and does "soulful" appear. I have not been able to find a working model to play with. Also can you use the voice recorder to record and set your own ringtone?

Why would you make your phone purchase based on what ringtones it has? lol

If you're considering exchanging for the 6126, i'm sure it's better than whatever you have now, especially if you don't own a nokia!

You have 30 days to exchange, I believe. I'd wait until the last day you can exchange it to finally go and do so, just in case the n75 comes out between now and then 🙂

I never said the ringtones were the deciding factor just asked if they were on the 6126 because I like them ON MY E62. I am not interested in the N75.

Well in THAT case, neither of them appear on my 6131. Not sure what's on Cingy's version.

I've been watching these forums for months now, and finally decided to make an account and do some blabbin myself.

I've had the 6131 for about 6 or 7 months now. No complaints. Great phone. It has PTT, but Cingular doesn't support PTT on any nokia devices!

Of course the n75 will be far more wonderful, but the 6131 is still a great phone. Signal is good everywhere. I very rarely have a dropped call (on my end, of course the call always drops on my girls end when I'm talking to her on her sprint pos phone)..

The push to open button is great, but the flip is spring loaded and sometimes when I have the phone in my pocket the button will get pushed and the phone will pop like it wants to open (only it can't open because it's in my pocke...

That's right! The N75 may never come out. I have the 6126 and works great! The only problem that most people have with it, including myself is the fact that the battery runs for about a day, and that's without any screen savers, little or no text messages and limited amount of talking time. If you like to talk a lot, make sure an extra battery is included. Other than that, the phone looks and feels great. Besides, is not made in China! I'm getting ready to swap batteries. I was told to get a battery 1100mAh. I'm gonna give it a try, and I'll keep you guys posted

Well i bought it, and for those of you who mentioned gettign an unlocked phone and saving the upgrade i had already done that by purchasing the POS nOKIA 6010 FROM THE CINGY REP AND HE WAS NICE ENOPUGH TO LET ME SWAP IT OUT FOR THE 6126 WITH MY UPGRADE meaning i paid nothing for it sicne i paid 80 bucks for the 6010 out right. somthing they are not supposed to do. anyways i read all your feedback and i agree so far i am loving the phone, only issues i have thus far is that i can not seem to close the phone when playing a song, if i do close the phone it turns the song off, and i sometimes hit the camera button and then have to open the phone to turn the camera off, otherwise its been fun to play with. though if the n75 does come in i will be...
