Another unlocked N75 has popped up on ebaY and is the bid is up to $510.

One of the ebaY members asked where he got the phone and his reply was:

I'm sorry that was my mistake I forgot to answer that part of the question. Our main distributor is also a NOKIA PARTNER, so they get the unbranded factory unlocked Nokia phones 3-5 weeks before the carriers release them.

If this is true, this means that Cingular will release the phone sometime around the first week of April.

It is amazing what the people are bidding on that phone as well as the one that was there last night.

Ebay removed the listing and canceled the sellers Ebay account. I was watching the item # #270098525824 - BRAND NEW *UNLOCKED* NOKIA N75 3G CAMERA MUSIC PHONE Ebay member infinitg3503 (Not a registered user) You can't find the listing or the user on Ebay anywhere. This guy was good at his attempt at ripping people off because the auction almost looked legitimate but he was not as good as Ebay's security team. Most of the n75 and n95 listings on Ebay are fraudulent auctions. They're easy to spot. They ask you to contact them through a provided email address before bidding, they are trying to sell you a non-existing phone and pay them with Paypal. There has only been one legitimate auction to date for the n75 on Ebay.

I don't know about you, but I'm not giving $500+ to a guy with a feedback rating of 4 who has never sold anything, especially when he's selling an unreleased phone.

If what he was saying about the Nokia partner thing, this phone would be popping up all over the place through resellers, not with random eBay auctions here and there.

also quite honestly, even if their ratings were great, this is too too much for this phone.
