Going for the V3xx...

Simply, I need a new phone, not another month or two or three of waiting. No one seems to really know when this will come out, and will it be worth this wait? I don't know, if it comes out in the next 30 days, I'll still take a look, but I'm going to the Cingy store tomorrow and picking up the 3G razr...some great reviews on this one so far. I'll post my own on this page later...I know it's the N75 forum, but I think a few of you might be interested in alternatives!

Wish me luck!

The v3xx is a solid device. Since the n75 delay, I have benn using the xx and it has been great. It's certainly not a series 60 phone, but is is very nice.

I went from the original razr to a 6682 and just could not wait any longer for a 3g device. Cingular store personnel in my market are required to carry a 3g device and I had to have one.

I still long for a 3g Nokia launch, but will just have to wait.

It will be a great day, whenever it happens, until then, I will enjoy this Moto.

I work at cingular and have one too. It's my favorite phone right now and the only reason I don't like it is I can have any phone I want and I end up being just another loser with a razor.. 😕

Yeah, but it so far from being just another Razr, I don't care what anyone thinks.

3.6 download capable

A2DP

ringers, Cingular Video and music to a standard BT headset.

Choice to have only BT headset ring, and not phone.

Improved OS

Clearly not just another Razr, and if they can't tell the difference, who cares.

But it's only tri-band 😢 What could have possibly driven Moto to dumb a phone down like that!

Looking to go with the V3xx as well. For the folks who have purchased the V3xx has the phone responded well....good improvement over the V3r? Excluding HSDPA and 60mb memory enhancements what else has improved??
Thanks!

Thanks Snarlynx for your reply. Appreciate the info------with the improved reception that you mentioned---is a increase of ear piece volume and clarity also noted? thanks! 🙂
